In the beginner stage (white belt) of KIXA, the aim is to increase the student's stamina, improve co-ordination and learn the basic movements of self-defence. Intensive guidance will be given throughout the training programme by KIXA qualified Instructors and Masters. White belt students must first accomplish the level of physical fitness required before entering the Yellow belt stage and so begin the discovery of Central Power (Inner strength). This is developed through our unique breathing exercises and control of the internal muscles requiring self discipline and concentration. Movements of warming up: The movements of warming up are the basic intensive training for accuracy, in punching and kicking for practical self-protection. Students will then carry on to learn practical movements of self defence, which is also important in the future when learning how to deliver Central Power when combined with the movements.
